My latest project: SNAP. Creativity at Your Fingertips

Three years ago, I was a little lost. For reals.

I had just started dating a wonderful man…with three little boys. Kids?! Yikes. Boys. What the?!

I had absolutely NO idea how to handle kids…Okay, that may be a small lie. I am the bossy older sister of three siblings and I started babysitting neighborhood kids when I was 10. But, after years as a corporate PR girl and all the wild (or not so wild) single living I was a bit out of touch.

I am nothing if not resourceful. I immediately set to work researching. Picking up on blogs and reading about what mom’s online were saying.

Right away I was drawn to the visually compelling blogs crafted by the best DIY, party and creative bloggers online. I noticed that instead of analyzing life and honing in on the controversial, you were busy dreaming, sharing and building things up – creating!

As I met more and more of you in real life, it became more and more clear that this community needed a forum – a place where imaginative bloggers could come together; learn from one another and walk away invigorated.

So…without further ado, I would like to introduce you to SNAP. Creativity at Your Fingertips.

SNAP! Creativity at Your FingertipsIt’s a community. It’s a blog. And, it’s the best conference for modern handmade, contemporary craft, event and DIY bloggers April 19-21, 2012 in Salt Lake City, UT.

I am thrilled to be working with not only some very good friends, but the very best of bloggers in our niche. Head over to the site and learn a little more about our team!

I am so hoping you’ll decide to join us at SNAP! next year. I would love to meet you. In the meantime, hop over and grab a button to show your support!

P.S. If you attended Creative Estates last month, we will be honoring the alumni discount at SNAP! Please let me know if you need the code.

    Tauni,

You are amazing and I thought that before meeting you just via twitter and all the insight you give and share with us. Then I had the opportunity to meet you at CE but so wish we had more time to chat! I’m so excited you are tapping into your talents and going to share along with others with the Snap! conference you are putting together. Cheers to you!

Chrissy, you may be one of the sweetest people ever. I sooo wish we would have had more time to hang out last month. One of the goals I have for SNAP! is to be able to have more time to just “enjoy the moment”

      xoxo

For a noncrafter, nonDIYer, nonhandmaker of anything I think this looks really awesome!! Way to go Tauni.
AND let’s be honest you being “lost” with those darling boys has never happened. You were a natural with them from the beginning, that’s why you’re so good at all this other crafty Mommy stuff!! I wish 2012 wasn’t so far away.

  10. You’ve accomplished a lot! This really sounds fun. I would like to come but April is so far away to make final plans now, especially since my anniversary is April 19th! Hoping! Maybe!

Wow. Sounds really interesting! I am a partner in a creative event for women called “Spark” and I we are having a blogging panel this year. I am excited to see how it goes. I am really interested to see what works and what questions people have.

I’ll keep checking in as your event gets closer!
